Two-Time Defending Champion Wilson Long Beach Leads Incredible Field Set to Compete at 2025 Oregon Relays

Nationally elite distance squads bolster marquee event at Hayward Field, April 4-5

EUGENE - The battle for fast times, big marks, and the Co-ed Team Championship gets underway at the Oregon Relays presented by AthleticNET, April 4-5 at Hayward Field.

Leading the charge for the championship trophy once again is two-time defending champion Wilson Long Beach (CA). The Bruins return to Eugene with another talented roster, this time led by standouts Wyland Obando, Kaylin Edwards, Alene Washington, Kaedyn Burroughs, and Loren Webster.

Wilson Long Beach won’t be without challengers, as 80 co-ed teams from around the country square off for the title, an epic pizza party, and a place in Oregon Relays history.

Joining Wilson Long Beach in Eugene are national distance powers Niwot (CO), Lone Peak (UT), Air Academy (CO), and Coeur d’Alene (ID). Niwot (CO) won the 2024 Nike Cross Nationals on the boys side and finished second on the girls side in 2023. Lone Peak and Air Academy placed second and fourth in the girls team race at the 2024 Nike Cross Nationals, while Coeur d’Alene placed ninth in the boys race.

The list of marquee athletes is just as impressive, with the likes of Addy Ritzenhein (CO), Owen Powell (WA), Tayvon Kitchen (OR), Josiah Tostenson (OR), Adrianna Buitelaar (CAN), and Chloe Huyler (OR) headlining the distance events, Eugene’s own Addison Kleinke (OR), Caroline Mauro (OR), and Simon Rosselli (WA) leading the field events, and Aster Jones (OR), Rasean Jones (OR), and Mateo Ganje (WA) featured in the sprints and hurdles. And don’t forget about the elite level relay races set to take place across both days.

The fun doesn’t stop on the track and in the field. Teams and athletes will enjoy two days of fun-filled activities around Hayward Field, hang out with teammates in the athlete lounge, engage with some of the best prep athletes in North America, have a chance to win Nike-sponsored prizes, and much more.

Tickets are now available for purchase at the University of Oregon Ticketmaster site. Buy them now to avoid waiting in lines at the event.

The live broadcast of the Oregon Relays can be viewed on RunnerSpace+, while live results and field event videos will be available on AthleticLIVE.
